2007 MLJJ Performance Schedule
The
host band for the Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee is the Temple of Folly
with Yve Evans. More than 20 years ago local residents Elliott Thompson
and Ken Coulter, along with friend Dave Koonse, formed the Temple
of Folly. They remain the host band of the Mammoth Jubilee for the
same reasons that Elliott and Thelma Thompson started the event way
back in 1989. Elliott just wanted a great place to play. He sure got
his way.
Joining Ken on drums, Elliott on Trombone and Dave on guitar are Don Rice on reeds,
Bill Hunter on piano, Tom Azarello, bassist and Yve Evans providing vocals. Trumpet TBA. |
